What's In A Title?

The blog title is my take on my favourite quote from Stephenie Meyer's Twilight novel, when Bella realises she is in love with vampire Edward. My version is slightly less impressive than that in the book but never the less true:

"About three things I was absolutely positive, first I was an obsessed crafter, second, there was a part of me - and I didn't know how potent that part might be, that thirsted for beautiful craft materials, dies, stamps, papers, cardstock etc, and third, I was unconditionally and irrevocably in love with scrapbooking and cardmaking"

Happy Birthday To Me - Again

Over a month now since I blogged.  Been so busy doing the photography at a friends wedding then making samples for my friend Caroline's Stampin Up party using some of the items from the new seasonal Stampin Up catalogue then two scorching hot weeks in Cyprus.  It was my birthday whilst we were away so I got a few presents before we went abroad but mainly I got gifts of money.  I saved it and saved it until last weekend when I ordered a few items from the brand new 2012 to 2013 Stampin Up catalogue.  When I say a few I really mean alot, I got fourteen stamps sets and two jumbo stamp wheels, several punches, lots of Sizzix dies, a couple of packs of patterned paper and cardstock and the super lush doctors bag which is supposed to house the Sizzix Big Shot machine but it currently full of all my new stuff.  I also pre-ordered the new Ebosser machine, not from Stampin Up, which I should receive mid November.  So it seems like I have had lots of birthdays this year and still the Ebosser pressie to come.

This is the first set I've used from my new stash, the Happy Hour set, which as you can see has lots of stamps (17), the text stamps cover birthdays, thanks and Christmas and it is a really, really cute set.  I made this little card from some left over scraps of paper I had on my craft desk.  It's just a quick, simple card, perfect for work as we all swap little cards so I need about thirty per year.
