What's In A Title?

The blog title is my take on my favourite quote from Stephenie Meyer's Twilight novel, when Bella realises she is in love with vampire Edward. My version is slightly less impressive than that in the book but never the less true:

"About three things I was absolutely positive, first I was an obsessed crafter, second, there was a part of me - and I didn't know how potent that part might be, that thirsted for beautiful craft materials, dies, stamps, papers, cardstock etc, and third, I was unconditionally and irrevocably in love with scrapbooking and cardmaking"

Christmas Cards 2013

Been busy the last couple of weeks, colouring in stamped images, then adding glitter glue and today I had one final card making session.  Hubby knew not to disturb me, he just poked a McDonalds bag & drink around my craft room door at lunchtime.  Managed to make the last twelve cards for family and friends, four are shown above.  Been going mad with the plasterers tape I bought a few weeks back, (£4.95 from B & Q for a huge, huge roll), it's the white meshy stuff you can see on the above cards.   Rather than trying to come up with lots of different designs this year I just stuck to one basic design and went mad with the Lili of the Valley stamps and glitter glue.  The papers are Bo Bunny and have tons of glitter on but due to the poor winter lighting its difficult to see the sparkle.

These are the tiny easel cards I made in July for my workmates, felt good to give them out last week without having the stress of making them all first.  Again I stuck to a basic format for them, most have stamped background papers but on some I used red dotty paper.  These were all made using Stampin' Up! products.
