What's In A Title?

The blog title is my take on my favourite quote from Stephenie Meyer's Twilight novel, when Bella realises she is in love with vampire Edward. My version is slightly less impressive than that in the book but never the less true:


"About three things I was absolutely positive, first I was an obsessed crafter, second, there was a part of me - and I didn't know how potent that part might be, that thirsted for beautiful craft materials, dies, stamps, papers, cardstock etc, and third, I was unconditionally and irrevocably in love with scrapbooking and cardmaking"

Mum's Birthday 2013

I had a mad crafting day a few days ago and made a stack of birthday cards.  This is one I made for my Mother's birthday this coming weekend.  I used up some old Stamping Up designer papers and some matching cardstock and used my current favourite Marianne metal die set to cut the loopy circular piece and the flowers and leaves.  The die set is amazing as it is almost makes a complete card all on its own.  I love the way it perforates the flowers and leaves and around the circular piece.  The stamp, I believe, is a Lili of The Valley one and I coloured the image with pro-markers.
