Happy Easter

Last weekend I signed up for another of Shimelle Laine's on-line scrapbooking classes. I like to sign up for a couple of classes every year as she is so inspirational. The class I am doing is about mixing and matching patterned papers from different ranges and manufacturers and it has made me look closely at the papers and kits in my stash box that have been there, ignored and unloved, for a number of years. Yesterday I pulled an old kit out of my stash with the intention of watching and following one of Shimelle's tutorials, she sends them Tuesdays and Thursdays along with that day's class pdf. I put the video on to play then totally ignored it as I got totally engrossed in playing with the papers in the kit and I have no idea what the video tutorial was about but I ended up with this layout which I really enjoyed putting together. See, Shimelle is so inspiring you don't even have to watch her tutorials to soak up all that inspiration. I will sit down this weekend and actually watch the video tutorial.
